The Association
The Music Parents Association serves both the vocal and instrumental ensembles at NVOT. It provides performance trip chaperones, assists with uniform issues and returns, assists with special rehearsal and performance needs, raises funds to provide scholarships and senior recognition awards each June. Parents and guardians of Music Department students are encouraged to participate in the activities of the Music Parents. Friends, relatives, and alumni can also join as Associate Members.
Membership
Click here to download a Membership Form. Membership dues help offset our annual operating expenses. Sponsorship through membership is $25.00 per year for Family Membership and $10.00 per year for Associate or Business Membership.

Fund-raising
Currently, we are running several different fund-raising campaigns. Click on the links below to order items in the:
- Fall Clothing Sale (orders due November 13)
- Poinsettia Sale (orders due November 30)
- CD Order Form (6-CD set of all of our 2009-2010 concerts, professionally recorded; price is $40.00; after December 15 price is $45.00).
Meeting dates
General meetings for 2009-2010:
- Thursday, October 1 at 7:00 pm (Auditorium) for Q&A for New Parents and 8:00 pm (Auditorium) for General Meeting
- Thursday, January 21, 8:00 pm (Choir Room; Snow date is January 28) - General Meeting
- Tuesday, March 23, 8:00 pm (Auditorium) - MANDATORY for all those participating on the Upperclass overnight Festival trip
- Wednesday, June 9 - as part of the Awards Concert

You can volunteer by emailing us at gkmpa@nvnet.org. We are eager to involve new and returning parents in our activities, and we need your help! If you are interested in helping out on one of our committees, contact us. Some activities require very little time, so please get involved!
